When we enable a business for eCommerce, we allocate an eCommerce terminal to their account. When a transaction is processed, instead of a generic trading name appearing on the customer's statement, the payment gateway will use the trading name used from their account with a max amount of 21 characters.
This applies to Visa and Mastercard transactions. For American Express and JCB, statements will display the generic trading name.
