Your New Virtual Terminal


Live Payments is excited to announce the relaunch of our Virtual Terminal within our new and improved merchant portal. Offering a modern and mobile-friendly interface, you are now able to access your terminal and manage all your transactions and settings in one place. On top of offering a modern look and feel, the new portal is faster, more robust and offers improved reporting features so that you can run your business better.


How Do I Use the New Virtual Terminal?

1. Processing a Transaction

2. Setting Surcharges

  • Soon, you will be able to configure your surcharges from within Settings > Surcharges > Virtual Terminal.

  • Throughout the Beta tests, you will need to contact your Relationship Manager directly to configure this.

3. How do I pass on a surcharge?

4. Emailing Receipts



  • At the time of writing, you will only be able to do this from within the Virtual Terminal Interface.

  • Soon, you will be able to email a receipt from any transaction within the ‘Transactions’ interface.

In your ‘Transactions’ tab, you will notice you have two tabs:

  1. ‘Recent VT Transactions’ - These are transactions which have been processed from 12 am this morning

  2. ‘All Other Transactions’ - These are the other transactions made prior to 12 am this morning
