Virtual Terminal Upgrades: Everything you need to know

If you've been assigned a new Virtual Terminal account, you will be able to access it in the Live Portal. 

Simply sign in with your existing LPay / MyWeb login credentials.

1. How do I process a transaction?

2. How do I set surcharges?

  • Soon, you will be able to configure your surcharges from within Settings > Surcharges > Virtual Terminal.
  • Over the coming months however, you will need to contact your Relationship Manager directly to configure this.

4. How can I email Receipts?

There are multiple ways you can send receipts

  • Instantly - inside the Virtual Terminal Interface



  • Or later, by navigating to Transactions > [Click Transaction] > Actions > 'Send Email'

5. How can I download receipts?

There are multiple ways you can download receipts:

  • Instantly - inside the Virtual Terminal Interface
  • Or later, via the transactions interface (See 4 above)

6. How can I view my transactions?

In your ‘Transactions’ tab, you will notice you have two tabs:

  1. ‘Recent VT Transactions’ - These are transactions which have been processed since 12:00am this morning

  2. ‘All Other Transactions’ - These are the other transactions processed prior to today.

  • In the 'Transactions' tab, simply identify the transaction in question, click on it, navigate to actions and follow the prompts:

10. How can I create, view, edit or delete a Sub-User?

  • The Sub-user functionality is scheduled for release before the end of 2022.We will keep you posted on these updates as they come through.

11. How come my older transactions aren't appearing in the Live Portal? Is this normal?

  • Our team is hard at work migrating your older LPay transaction data through to the Live Portal.
  • We expect this to happen some time in October - November, 2022.
  • Until then, you will still need to access your older transaction data via the LPay Platform.

12. How can I process refunds on my older LPay transactions?

  • The LPay Platform will remain live until December 2022.
  • Although you won't be able to process new transactions, you will still be able to view older transactions and process refunds as you normally would.

13. What will happen to my daily settlement reports?

  • We strongly recommend you make a clear transition to the new Virtual Terminal, and immediately cease using the older LPay platform to process new transactions.
  • If you continue to use both portals to process Virtual Terminal transactions, you will receive two daily settlement reports: one for each.
  • Your older LPay settlement reports will remain live in MyWeb. Your new Virtual Terminal settlement reports will start to populate inside the Live Portal > Settlements
