My device is frozen

An EFTPOS device is just like a computer or a phone. Sometimes they just freeze up! A good way to prevent this is by turning the device off when not in use, restarting it every day, or at least every couple of days.

To reboot your device, please follow the steps below:

  1. Disconnect the device from the charger
  2. Hold down the red button until the device switches off
  3. Wait 10 seconds
  4. Hold down the green button to switch the device back on
  5. The device will now switch back on and should be working again
