Taking a Payment on your PAX A920Pro

How to process a purchase on the PAX A920Pro, including accepted payment types.

Methods

• Contactless (Tap & Go), chip insert, and swipe
• Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Samsung Pay

Card schemes

• Visa, Mastercard, eftpos, American Express, JCB, UnionPay, and Discover

Processing a purchase

Tap Purchase

From the Standalone Payments Home Screen, tap Purchase.

Enter the amount

Enter the transaction amount (no decimal point required) and tap Done.

Present the card or device

Ask the cardholder to tap, insert, or swipe their card or mobile device.

PIN entry (if prompted)

If prompted, ask the cardholder to select their account, enter their PIN, and tap Enter.

Approval and receipt

An Approved message will appear on approval. A merchant receipt will print based on your settings, or you can select a receipt type from the confirmation screen.
