How to process a refund on the PAX A920Pro.

Refunds must be enabled first
The Refund function is not available by default. Contact Live Payments Support to request enablement.

Processing a refund

Tap Refund
From the Standalone Payments Home Screen, tap Refund.
|
|
|
Enter the refund amount
Enter the refund amount (no decimal point required) and tap Done.
|
|
|
Present the card or device
Ask the cardholder to tap, insert, or swipe the card or mobile device used for the original purchase.
|
|
|
Approval and receipt
An Approved message will appear on approval. A receipt will print based on your settings, or you can select a receipt type from the confirmation screen.

Refund passcode
A refund passcode is enabled by default for additional security. We recommend updating it to a 6–12 digit password of your choice. Contact Live Payments Support to update it.
